APPOINTMENTS
You can make an appointment with Advanced Care Massage and Bodywork LLC in several ways including via our website, telephone, text, or email. Appointments are available for 30 or 60 minutes.
Upon making a booking, you will receive an email confirming all the important details, along with an email reminder before your appointment.
If this is your first appointment with us, you will also receive a New Client Consultation Form via email before your appointment. Please complete this because we will not be able to treat you until we discuss your history on the day of your appointment time.
CANCELLATIONS & LATE ARRIVALS

At Advanced Care Massage, we're dedicated to ensuring top-notch experiences for our valued clients. To help us maintain our service quality, kindly follow our cancellation policy:

Cancellation Notice: If you must cancel, please notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. This allows us to accommodate others. Failing to do so will result in a charge equivalent to your full appointment cost, plus a 4% transaction fee. This is because we may not be able to fill your appointment slot and still need to cover our costs.

Cancellation Methods: You can cancel by phone call, email, or text. Both cancellation and no-show fees are the client's responsibility and must be settled before your next scheduled appointment.

Illness Considerations: If you're unwell, prioritize your safety and ours by staying home. If you cancel due to illness within 24 hours of your appointment, you'll have 48 hours to reschedule. Your rescheduled session should be booked within 2 weeks of the original appointment.

Signs of Illness: Should you exhibit signs of illness during your visit, we reserve the right to ensure everyone's well-being by rescheduling your appointment. The same rescheduling terms apply.

An invoice for any cancellation / ‘no show’ charges will be sent to you by email for payment by bank transfer within 7 days. Following a cancellation, payment must be received before any further massage bookings can be taken.
Late Arrivals: Our agreed appointment time and duration must be adhered to. We appreciate that sometimes, things happen, and you may arrive a little later or need to leave a bit earlier than planned. This is fine, but we cannot make up the missed time by overrunning or adding time to subsequent
appointments.

Your understanding and cooperation with these policies enable us to serve you and our community effectively. We appreciate your commitment to a positive and healthy experience.

CONFIDENTIALITY
All client information and clinical records will be safeguarded by Advanced Care Massage and Bodywork LLC and will remain confidential. Unless required to do so by law, we will not otherwise share, sell, or distribute any of the information you provide to us without your consent.
Consultations and client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian.
To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we employ security measures to protect your information from access by unauthorized persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, and damage. We have also put in place suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We will retain your information for a reasonable period or as long as the law requires.
Each practitioner working for Advanced Care Massage and Bodywork LLC will have access to these records only for the duration of their contract with Advanced Care Massage and Bodywork LLC, and solely to provide you with the most appropriate treatment.

HEALTH & SAFETY
All practitioners at Advanced Care Massage and Bodywork LLC are qualified, certified / board approved for the state of Kentucky, and hold professional and public indemnity insurance for the services that they provide.
Due to the nature of massage and the need for close contact, all Advanced Care Massage and Bodywork LLC practitioners will maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and clients are asked to ensure that they also maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.
If a practitioner is unwell, suffering from a cold or virus, infection, or general ill health, they will not be allowed to work due to the risks of cross-contamination. This may result in Advanced Care Massage and Bodywork LLC contacting you to inform you of the issue at the earliest opportunity to make suitable alternative arrangements.
Clients are asked not to attend a massage if they are unwell, suffering from a cold or virus, infection, or general ill health. Please contact Advanced Care Massage and Bodywork LLC via email at hi@advancedcaremassage.com at the earliest opportunity to rearrange your appointment. If you are unwell and contact us to inform us of your illness, please note that our Cancellation Policy may still apply.
Advanced Care Massage and Bodywork LLC, including the practitioners, will not be held responsible for the loss or damage of personal items during your time at the Advanced Care Massage premises.
Clients under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This parent or guardian must permit the agreed massage plan to be performed and will be requested to co-sign the New Client Consultation Form. They will be invited to stay in the room for the duration of the appointment, and are expected to remain present throughout the treatment.
Advanced Care Massage and Bodywork LLC holds the right to refuse any treatment if a client is physically or verbally abusive towards any practitioner, or demonstrates inappropriate, aggressive, or sexual behavior. Such behavior may result in a partial or total ban from Advanced Care Massage and Bodywork LLC and may also result in criminal proceedings.

DISCLAIMER
Advanced Care Massage and Bodywork LLC provides massage therapy and bodywork in a variety of forms, but none of these bodywork modalities is a substitute for professional medical care or counseling. None of the practitioners at Advanced Care Massage and Bodywork LLC will diagnose, or prescribe medication or medical treatment of any kind, unless they are personally qualified to do so, and will always recommend referral to an MD or other qualified medical specialist or practitioner.
The client must provide accurate and true medical and personal information, to the best of their knowledge, and to keep Advanced Care Massage and Bodywork LLC up to date with details of any medication, symptoms, medical concerns or treatments they are having investigated or undergone treatment for.
All practitioners at Advanced Care Massage and Bodywork LLC may refuse to treat any client or part of their body with just and reasonable cause. Advanced Care Massage and Bodywork LLC reserves the right to terminate any appointment at any time if they believe that it is not safe or in the client’s best interest to continue. Likewise, the client has the right to refuse, modify, or terminate treatment at any time, regardless of prior consent given.

When you opt-in to the service, we will send you a message to confirm your signup.
By opting into messages, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from Advanced Care Massage for Advanced Care Massage. Automated messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system to the mobile telephone number you provided when signing up or any other number that you designate.
Message frequency varies, and additional mobile messages may be sent periodically based on your interaction with Advanced Care Massage. Advanced Care Massage reserves the right to alter the frequency of messages sent at any time to increase or decrease the total number of sent messages. Advanced Care Massage also reserves the right to change the short code or phone number where messages are sent.
Message and data rates may apply. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider. Your wireless provider is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Cancellation
You can cancel at any time by texting "STOP". After you send the SMS message "STOP", we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed and no more messages will be sent. If you would like to receive messages from Advanced Care Massage again, just sign up as you did the first time and Advanced Care Massage will start sending messages to you again.

Transfer of Number
You agree that before changing your mobile number or transferring your mobile number to another individual, you will either reply “STOP” from the original number or notify us of your old number at hi@advancedcaremassage.com. The duty to inform us based on the above events is a condition of using this service to receive messages.

Messaging Terms Changes
We reserve the right to change or terminate our messaging program at any time. We also reserve the right to update these Messaging Terms at any time.
