TMJD Clinical Intra-Oral Massage Starts with First Treatment

It's important to note that massage therapy for TMJD should be performed by a licensed massage therapist who is trained in addressing temporomandibular joint issues. Additionally, individuals experiencing TMJD symptoms should consult with a healthcare professional to ensure an accurate diagnosis and to determine the most appropriate treatment plan, which may include a combination of therapies.

Our comprehensive treatment plan consists of three sessions aimed at addressing your pain and discomfort effectively.

Our primary goal is to provide you with significant relief within these three sessions. Once you have achieved a minimum of 70% improvement, we recommend scheduling maintenance sessions. These sessions, spaced out every 2-4 weeks after the third treatment, aim to ensure long-term well-being.

Corrective Myofascial Massage Method is a goal-oriented therapy that combines a thorough assessment, Muscle Energy Techniques (MET),  deep tissue, and myofascial massage. This method is very intentional and the goal is to find the underlying cause of your pain and discomfort.

First Treatment                                                   $265

                                               (includes second & third treatments)

The initial session sets the foundation for the subsequent treatments. It begins with a thorough assessment to determine the best approach for your specific needs. Following the assessment, a gentle massage targets the external areas of your face, neck, and shoulders, providing immediate relief and relaxation. Additionally, we utilize advanced techniques to target underlying imbalances that may contribute to your pain.

Second Treatment

The second session builds upon the foundation established in the initial treatment. It starts with another soothing massage that addresses the external areas of your face, neck, and shoulders. This is then followed by a specialized technique called intra-oral massage, which involves massaging the muscles inside the mouth to alleviate tension and discomfort. This comprehensive approach ensures a holistic treatment experience.

Third Treatment

During the third and final treatment, we continue to prioritize your well-being. It begins with a gentle massage focusing on the external face, neck, and shoulders, providing further relaxation and relief. As with the previous sessions, intra-oral massage using latex-free gloves is incorporated to address any lingering tension and discomfort.
